Announcing the Call 2021 Alliance Doctoral Mobility Grantees
We are very pleased to grant $34,000 to the Call 2021 Grantees of the Alliance Doctoral Mobility Grant!
The Alliance Call for Doctoral Mobility is intended to support and finance intercontinental research projects of the highest quality, in all disciplines, from doctoral students affiliated with one of the four partner institutions. Doctoral students are encouraged to pursue their research abroad under the supervision of a host faculty member: students from the three French institutions can complete a research period at Columbia University while students from Columbia can complete a research period at École Polytechnique, Sciences Po, or Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne University.
The caliber of the proposals was extraordinary this year. The selected projects take on a broad range of issues that includes studying multiple strategies to: apply machine learning to microeconometrics, monitor social media discourse about immigration, and track cultural exchanges in films.
