Yue Pan is currently a Ph.D. student specializing in cultural studies at Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne. She graduated from Beijing Film Academy where she received her undergraduate degree and master’s degree in script writing. Then she received her second master’s degree at Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne in cinema studies. Specialized in Film studies and Cultural studies, her current work is particularly to do with contemporary American films and Chinese-American cultural exchanges. Alongside her research work, Yue Pan also works as a scriptwriter for Chinese movies and TV series.
