2019 Blockchain Award Goes to Meditect

The Alliance Program, in partnership with Startup Columbia, is pleased to announce the winner of the inaugural 2019 Blockchain Innovation Challenge!

A big congratulations to all of our finalists who represented their respective institutions with distinction.

As the winner of the competition, Meditect has been awarded the Blockchain Innovation Challenge Prize of $30,000 to support the development of their project. Each runner up team has been awarded a prize of $5,000.

A special thank you to our judging panel and all of those who participated in the competition.

Meditect represented Sciences Po as a finalist and now holds the singular honor of being the first winner of the Blockchain Innovation Challenge. They presented an innovative solution to use Blockchain to validate the authenticity of medicine, thus improving the supply chain by increasing trackability & accountability.

Also, our congratulations go out to the runner-ups and the institutions they represent. We are thrilled and awed by the innovative capacity presented by all of the finalists.
