As a Ph.D. candidate in political science/international relations, Sarah Tanke is working on Japanese multilateral diplomacy. She graduated from Sciences Po, Paris (M.A. in Political science/international relations) and from the University of Hamburg (International M.A. in Japanese studies, including a stay at the Paris Institut national des langues et civilisations orientales, INALCO). Specializing in Japan, Sarah Tanke has spent two years studying in Japan, among other things as an assistant at the Nihon University Population Research Institute (NUPRI) in Tokyo. Working at the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in New York made her discover the multilateral environment.
