Perrine Ferrer-Lormeau

Perrine Ferrer-Lormeau is currently pursuing her Ph.D. under the direction of Professor Anne-Marie Leroyer, for the second year. Her thesis topic is
entitled “Parentage Law in a Gender Perspective – a Comparatist Approach”. She is 26 years old (born on the 19th of October 1989) and has
graduated in Private Law (Master 2) from Université Paris 1 Panthéon- Sorbonne. She was then offered a full scholarship for financing her research. Her thesis approaches the ways gender inequalities are institutionalized and perpetuated in Parentage Law. Through a comparatist and multidisciplinary approach (including History, Anthropology, and Sociology), her works aim to address contemporary legal and social issues in France, such as reproductive
rights, LGBT parenting, and imposed paternity.
