She has been awarded a Fulbright Schuman Grant to be a Visiting Scholar at the Harriman Institute for Russian, Eurasian and East European studies from January to June 2018.

X-CubeSat, the nano-satellite of the student space center of the École Polytechnique (AstronautiX), has just been launched in orbit on May 17, 2017 from the ISS. It joined the International Space Station (ISS) on March 24, aboard the Cygnus refueling vessel launched by an Atlas V rocket after six years of development. Between the X2010 and X2015 promotions, no fewer than fifty-seven polytechnicists, eight engineers, researchers and two trainees succeeded in realizing this formidable project.

Alliance would like to congratulate Professor Diane Bodart, who was just awarded a prestigious grant for her research on scribbles. Her research started with a Joint Projects Grant in partnership with Paris 1 Pantheon-Sorbonne in 2015-2016.

The Sorbonne Law School is very pleased to open the Sorbonne Business Law LLM program directed by Prof Mathias Audit.

This one-year training program located in the center of Paris is tailored for non-French-speaking lawyers or students holding a Master's degree or equivalent.

Un nouveau master “Innovation & transformation numérique” proposé par l’École de management et de l’innovation ouvrira à la rentrée 2017. ll a pour objectif de former des acteurs de l’innovation en s’appuyant sur leur potentiel créatif et réflexif. La diversité et la complémentarité des profils recrutés sera un atout de la formation qui veut croiser les compétences, les connaissances et les cultures pédagogiques pour former des professionnels capables de penser les technologies et les usages numériques comme des leviers d’innovation et transformation structurelles. Ce projet se concrétise par un premier partenariat avec Télécom ParisTech.

 

The French Embassy and the FACE Foundation are launching the Thomas Jefferson Fund to support new collaborations and the most innovative projects between promising young researchers in France and the United States. The Thomas Jefferson Fund aims to foster forward-looking collaborative research in the fields of Humanities and Social Sciences, of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics and of Science for Society that addresses the most pressing global challenges.

Sciences Po has been awarded the Qualité Français langue étrangère label (Quality Label for French as a Foreign Language), attaining the maximum score of three stars. Sciences Po has been attributed this label for the quality of its teaching of French as a foreign language, the professionalism and commitment of the teachers and staff, and the conditions in which the students are taught.
