Sara Legrandjacques is a Ph.D. candidate in Contemporary History affiliated to the CHAC (Centre d’Histoire de l’Asie contemporaine) at University Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne and to the UMR Sirice. Her research deals with student mobility in colonial Asia (1850s-1940s) through a comparative study of British India and French Indochina. Her works mix connected and global history with colonial history and history of education. She is also a tutor in the history of Asia at University Paris 1 PanthéonSorbonne and an assistant editorial secretary for the Bulletin de l’Institut Pierre Renouvin.
