Pauline-Elise Blistene

Pauline Blistène is currently a Ph.D. student in the Department of Contemporary Philosophy at Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne University under the supervision of Prof. Sandra Laugier. The provisional title of her dissertation is “The Visibility of Secrecy and the Aesthetics of Reason-of-State-Politics: Fictional Representations of Intelligence Agencies in France and America post-9/11”. She holds an M.A. in International Relations and Journalism (Sciences Po, Lille) and an MSc. in International Politics (SOAS, University of London). She has taught International Security, Political Science, Political Theory at Sciences Po. Since 2016, she is also the head of the TESDEM program (Terrorism and TV-Series in Democracy: a Franco-American Perspective) funded by the French National Center for Scientific Research (CNRS).
