Hélène Quiniou

Hélène Quiniou is a PhD Candidate in Anthropology at Columbia University in New York and a member of the Généalogies du Mondial research program at Université Paris 8. Situated at the intersection of philosophy, intellectual history, and ethnography, her research is concerned with the chronologies and temporalities that underwrite contemporary histories of the present. Her current project investigates the shifting character of witnessing between reparations and collective memory in the wake of the November 13, 2015 attacks in Paris and Saint-Denis.
