Gustav Kalm is a Ph.D. candidate in Anthropology at Columbia University. Originally from Estonia, he trained as a lawyer in France before beginning his doctoral study in Anthropology. His research investigates the anatomy of political rule in the transnational extension of property and contract protection under the international investment protection regime.
