“We may have all come on different ships, but we’re in the same boat now” said Martin Luther King. In this he echoed the motto on the Great Seal of the United States, “E pluribus unum”. However, for a long time, the United States have been living under segregation. Today, despite remarkable progress made in recent years, inequalities remain in many fields: education, economy, culture… Equality of opportunity is not yet a full reality. How can we promote young talents, foster professional equality and tend to abolish the privileges of birth? Broad agenda! To discuss it, on this Black History Month, we will have the pleasure to welcome four experts to identify all these problems and – hopefully – find remedies to solve them.
