Internship title: Graph matching across modalities in spatial transcriptomics
Internship description: This internship offers the opportunity to gain experience developing and testing novel deep learning algorithms applied to spatial transcriptomics datasets. A variety of machine learning tools will be utilized to improve tissue matching across modalities, as well as embed cell type specific information for downstream analysis.
Skills required: python, machine learning, deep learning, pytorch, familiarity with standard bioinformatics workflows, spatial transcriptomics
Additional information: Graph neural networks provide a powerful tool to represent the relationship between multiple cell types in intact tissue. This internship will focus on developing novel algorithms to improve the applicability of these tools within and across spatial transcriptomics datasets.
